As our lives change

We change

The poor are our last

The rich are our must

As we climb the ladder

We forgot those below

We left ourselves at the border

Until we become the same old blunder

We blossom into men with greeds

Into men with respect

But yet no respect from all

And to think we are successful in every way

We acknowledge those rich and famous

But do we acknowledge the kind we once were?

We try to please the rich and pompous

But do we please the poor and humble?

What do we fear the most?

Speaking perhaps

What do we want the most?

To achieve something we know it will be difficult to chase.

How many of us are brave enough to chase those dreams?

And I am glad to say that I am that few

The Lark

It was dark

And it was cold

But she slept only because of the lark

Which sang a story to be told

The lark said and hoped she could understand:

"I'm sorry I did not listen

And ended up on the bloody sand

For I was too stubborn to understand

I'm sorry for my leaving you

And to not leave a word of goodbye

I'm sorry that the songs I now sing for you

Are only a miserable bye

I wish I could shed a tear too

I wish I could freeze this moment

And to not give everyone a flying kiss

To hear their silvery coated laughters

And to know that the love from all have filled my heart's spaces
