Piano

Close your eyes and listen
Beyond the crowd of noises
Listen to that piano playing
Listen to my heart beating

Listen to its melody
The notes that flows with emotions
Understand each key that streams by
Understand me

Close your eyes and just listen
See the picture no one sees
Touch what others cannot touch
For the piano is me

Quotes of the Day!

Words mean nothing. It's what you do that makes them mean something.

Every heart once broken, has a price to pay.

Life & Death

Today I saw life and death
I had a glimpse into their eyes
Of pain and fear
Hearts as weak as water

Today I saw life and death
I watched them cry
I feel their screams of torture
Their soul...empty

Men crying to their wives
Children looking with innocent eyes
The place filled with noise
Yet silent as an empty vessel

Today I saw life and death
Cold and fear was everywhere
Their hearts beat...slowly
Their eyes closes...locked.

Once...

One day they're here
The next they disappear
The world's an illusion
With no conclusion

Once, a heart in my hands
The next, it turns into fine sand
Nothing lasts forever I see
For even love shall be blown to sea

Once, a key kept locked in my chest
Now it's been sold to the west
Will I ever see the key to my treasure?
Probably not ever till my time has measure.

Two Candles

As I close my eyes
I see two candles
Burning with such a flame
Beautiful yet so dull

Their flames so orange at the top
Black at the bottom
Blue in the middle
Their glow a magnificent one

Their flame dances with confusion
Not able to stay facing each other
Their invisible heart stolen by the wind
Leaving them with no love to feel
Just the pure beauty they are left to project.

Girl with a mask

There stood a girl
Lonely and deserted as she's always been
No one sees what she's like, a dying pearl
Neither has her beauty ever been seen

As she walks pass you
Do you smell her sweet, natural smell?
Or do you comment on her only dress in blue
And curse her with such a spell?

As she sits next you
Do you see her long, silky hair?
Though from the outside
They're nothing but strands here and there

As you look into her pure, innocent eyes
Do you look pass it like you've always did
Or do you see her for who she really is?

An ugly mask she may wear
But behind that mask
Lay a beautiful angel you've never dreamt
The one who's always there
But never noticed anywhere

An Unfair Life

Last Wednesday, we visited an orphanage home...meant for all unwanted indian children. The place was one of the few we can never forget because of what we see and of what aura we feel from there. No pictures can show how it is there. One will have to experience it...feel it. Then again, no doubt about the poorness of these children but even from the first moment you see these wonderful children, you'll see how happy they are. They're just one big, happy family!

Here's a conversation I would love to share with everyone:

Anonymous: So where does these children come from?

Founder : Some are from police cases. Some are left here by their mothers. Some were
found unwanted.

Anonymous: Oh, I see. By the way, I've noticed how many gods you all pray to.
Three Gods. Thats an awful lot. But the children are all Hindus. Why three
different Gods? There's the Hindu, Buddhist and Christian God.

Founder : (Chuckles) Well, we'll need all the help we can get dont you think?

That is how desperate they are for help. We people have everything we should have and to keep ourselves living. But yet, we complain and complain about the tiniest problems. Whereas, these unwanted children live with all they have and only hope for a miracle. So here's something I'll live for you to think about for the day: Do you still think that your life is an unfair one?

Lyrics or Melody?

Tell me my friend
When a song begins to play
Which do you listen to?
Meaningful lyrics or just the melody played?

Close your eyes my friend
And listen to the calming wind
Do you hear nothing but the wind itself
Or do you hear the words spoken to?

Close your eyes my dear friend
And listen to the beating waves
Do you hear nothing but water lapping
Or do you hear the music that lies within?

Do you see a leaf as leaf
Or perhaps a leaf as a tree?
Do you see her as a figure
Or do you see her for who she is?
