Pebble

Sometimes hot

Sometimes cold

Sometimes I shiver in the day

Sometimes I sweat in the night

Which of which

I do not know

But what I seek

Is what I do know

I seek for a pebble

So plain yet so special

So black yet so bright

So dull yet so lively

And when I throw it into the ocean

Back to me will the pebble be

And when I put it into poison

Corrode will it not

And when I crack it with a hammer

Unbreakable will the pebble stay

And when I throw it down onto the ground

No chips shall be seen

But when my tears drips upon its body

It shall shatter into pieces like broken glasses

For it feels what I feel

And shares the pain deep within me

And when I am down and lonely

It'll shine its brightess

For it knows I shall need a hug

But all it can do is illuminate through the dark

This pebble I seek

So plain yet so special

Is one I know I shall never have

For indeed, it is a treasure one shall have to seek.

Last Wave

I bid goodbye

I bid farewell

And I hope all is by-the-by

And all is well

We have been friends

We have been foes

We were bands

Of uncommon souls

Gone through we have

Of bumpy and rocky roads

But time has arrived for our last wave
And treasure memoirs together as unforgettable loads

As our lives change

The poor are our last

The rich are our must

As we climb the ladder

We forgot those below

We left ourselves at the border

Until we become the same old blunder

But yet no respect from all

And to think we are successful in every way

What do we fear the most?

To achieve something we know it will be difficult to chase.

And I am glad to say that I am that few

The Lark

It was dark

And it was cold

But she slept only because of the lark

Which sang a story to be told

The lark said and hoped she could understand:

"I'm sorry I did not listen

And ended up on the bloody sand

For I was too stubborn to understand

I'm sorry for my leaving you

And to not leave a word of goodbye

I'm sorry that the songs I now sing for you

Are only a miserable bye

I wish I could shed a tear too

Whenever you began to cry for me

But nothing seems to fall out of my beady eyes

Though my tiny heart skips a beat each time you cry

I wish I could be human again

And to tell you I'm your unworthy son

Just so you don't have to go through knives and thorns

To search for your already dead son

And to not give everyone a flying kiss

To hear their silvery coated laughters

And to know that the love from all have filled my heart's spaces
